Tablet PCs are compact,ultra portable entertainment devices that lets you read email, surf the internet, read eBooks, view photos, play games, listen to music and watch video files. Most tablets are based on a smaller operating system, which allows you to purchase and download additional applications from supported stores. Tablet PCs do not have a CD/CVD drive nor keyboard and will not run microsoft windows. Tablets are not meant to replace computers but with the availability of external usb keyboard and cd/dvd drive, plus a little tweaking, they may replace a computer for up to 90 percent of your computing needs. As a matter of fact once you lay your hands on one, you may never miss a computer even if you are a heavy user.
